GMDA

Urban Planning

The Urban Planning division would undertake town planning. Its mandate extends to preparation of the Master Development Plan. It would also be the principal regulatory agency for development controls (grant of change of land use permission, approval of building plans in cases where change in land use permissions have been granted and enforcement actions for unauthorised development).
